The Denver International
Program has been in the forefront of international citizen exchange
in Denver since 1979, bringing hundreds of professionals from around
the world to the Denver Metro Area for training and cultural exchange.
These quality training programs pair
professionals from developing and industrialized countries with
local mentors for periods of one week
to eighteen months.
The result is mutually rewarding relationships that
usually last well beyond the program’s end. Plus the program
promotes greater international understanding by bridging cultural
differences.
Program participants come
from many different countries around the world, and many different
walks of life – social services, government, business, law,
health care, the arts, environment, education, and more.
Placing the international trainees in local host
homes enriches the exchange. The hosting experience is a
unique opportunity to develop lasting friendships and promote
intercultural exchange.
All participants are required to speak English well
enough to manage successfully in the American workplace and society.
